1) The case is kind of like a bag, not an actually case for your phone. I didn't mind it t all, it was perfect for my huge phone (iPhone 6+). I would recommend to put the phone into the case upside down (so not as shown in the picture, the other way). The reason for that being when I first used AIKELIDA to record underwater, sometimes I would get the strap in the video. So, if you put it in upside with the camera at the other end and far from the seal where the strap is, it's less likely to get in the way.
2) My snapchat users, sorry guys but there is no way you can record underwater. Once the water is on the screen, the screen can't sense your touch it so your video will stop. You can snap pics underwater on snapchat using the volume button.
3) That also applies for regular pics and videos. Pictures can only be taken under water using the volume button. I started all my videos above water then submerged, knowing that I can always trim the video, but I typically kept that part because it made the video a lot cooler. Anyway, I'm sure you can also use the volume button to start a video underwater. The bottom line is the water makes it impossible for the screen to know when you're touching it.
4) Finally, don't except everything to be incredibly clear like an underwater camera. You're still using your phone and your using it in a way it was not intended.
sed this when we went on a canoe trip a few weeks ago. Canoe flipped over violently like we were on a roller coaster. Long story but I spent at least the next 20 minutes or so immersed in the water. My android was in this case hanging around my neck, literally soaking in the river water, and not a single drop of water got in the case!!! It did an excellent job of protecting my phone! The only down side for me was the size of the case. I keep my phone in a thin protector at all times and, although it did fit in the waterproof case with the protector on, it was just a tiny bit snug, but certainly not a deal breaker. This case is excellent! It did the job it promised to do and I would recommend it highly! Can't beat the price either.
Worked great kept my phone and money dry. Surprisingly clear photos underwater. Very happy with product.Swimming and feeding Stingrays Cayman Islands.
The plastic is thick and appears durable. Part of me is hesitant to rely on an inexpensive case like this for my very expensive phone, but I tested it out with a paper towel, submersed in water, and it held up just fine. Then, I took the phone into the swimming pool and got some really cute under-water pictures of my swimming kids! I'm pretty impressed. Only draw-back is that with the iPhone 6 Plus, you need to maneuver the phone just a little bit, so that the camera isn't obstructed by the opaque colored plastic. But, that's not so hard. A bigger problem is that the touch-screen seems to be thrown off by the conductive water (not the case's fault, but the water itself). I highly recommend this, and have already done to so my friends and family.
This AikeLida waterproof case is more then amazing, It is the perfect thing for when we ride our jet skies on the lake. I can have a piece of mind that my phone is protected and that I can bring it along. I did the test on it which consist of placing a paper in the case and submerge the case into water. open up case and pull out paper inspect to make sure it is dry, which it was so then I put my phone in the bag filled the sink with water and submerged it. The phone and inside of the case were dry not a drop. That is pretty impressive. This waterproof case has a good latch system and is very durable. I like the cord that you attach to it, this case has quality all over it. Below is a pic of my phone in the case in a sink filled with water .I received this waterproof case for a discount for my honest unbiased review and all opinions are my own.
